Job Description:
The Sr. Marketing Manager, Alliances is responsible for managing
the partner channel including channel marketing strategy focused on
strategic expansion of the LexisNexis Risk Solutions alliance
network, initiatives supporting the growth of revenue within the
existing partner space and sales enablement to support targeted
market growth. This role is also responsible for initiating and
executing fully integrated and innovative marketing programs to
drive awareness, engagement, retention and product expansion
efforts across our existing partner base for our overall portfolio
of solutions.The successful candidate will manage all marketing
activities including but not limited to (digital advertising,
search, email, events, co-marketing programs and webinars), content
development and promotion (blog, social, email, eBook, infographic,
etc.), event experiences (logistics, contracting, communications
and activation), retention activities and marketing communications
for partner channel and overall solution messaging. This role will
navigate a matrixed environment while collaborating closely with
stakeholders across functional areas to achieve revenue and profit
targets for key markets. The position reports to the Vice
President, U.S. Integrated Marketing for the Business Services
division.Accountabilities:
- Develop a comprehensive partner marketing strategy inclusive of
strategic plan development and execution of the plan
- This role will build and maintain key alliance relationships;
includes following established guidelines for co-branded marketing
opportunities, creating a library of materials to support sales of
products to partners, creating partner templates for sales of our
products through both resellers and integrators and measuring
marketing contribution to alliance pipeline and revenue
- Ensure partner (including alliance, integrators and resellers)
co-marketing information, processes, marketing materials and
templates follow established guidelines
- Partner with the global alliance team to identify and target
net new alliance partners and execute multi-channel campaigns to
motivate interest and educate targets on the benefits of becoming a
LexisNexis Risk Solutions alliance partner
- Create alliance-specific sales enablement materials to ensure
alliance teams have the tools needed to communicate the unique
value of LexisNexis Risk Solutions products and services
- Own the strategy and end-to-end execution of ABM campaigns to
drive adoption, retention and expansion through a mix of
traditional and modern marketing tactics (including email, direct
mail, user events, webinars, paid ads, etc.)
- Create high impact messaging content that communicates the
value of LexisNexis Risk Solutions portfolio including the
solutions architecture to ensure partners and their customers see
value in product investment and establish brand loyalty
- Become the go-to expert in direct and indirect partner success
stories to help create effective marketing assets (case studies,
testimonials, videos) that can be leveraged in sales pitches and
marketing campaigns; includes maintaining an internal library of
up-to-date stats, quotes and references
- Partner with Sales to identify top partners and cultivate
champions including establishing partner marketing
relationships
- Work with various stakeholders for Alliance specific go to
market product launches including development of marketing
collateral, managing budget and analysis of marketing results
- Will manage a marketing budget associated with the
responsibility areas for this role
- Other duties as assigned such as marketing deliverables for
acquisition integration and product migrationsQualifications
- 4-year college degree preferably in Marketing or Business, MBA
preferred
- A minimum of 7 years in marketing experience including 3+ years
focused on partnership marketing initiatives required, B2B
marketing or technology fields preferred
- Strong competence in project management and organization with
ability to handle multiple projects/deadlines
- Analytical skills to determine marketing effectiveness and ROI
of efforts
- Strong attention to detail
- Critical thinker and problem solver
- Highly influential communicator with excellent written and
verbal communication skills
- Experience in working in a matrix environment with multiple
stakeholders and partners
- Experience with lead generation programs including use of
marketing automation tools
- Proficient with content development and management
- Experience with digital and direct response marketing
programs
- Acumen in strategic planning and executing integrated marketing
programs, campaigns and tactics
- Experience with event planning and activation
- Experience with agency management, creative oversight and
contract negotiations
- Self-starter and passionate with strong bias towards driving
results
- Proven ability to optimize programs to meet goals using
analytics
- Previous budgeting responsibility
- Ability to travel as necessary
