The role The Customer Master Data Associate is responsible for the efficient and effective management of Avanos Medical’s customer master data. This position creates, maintains, updates and analyzes SAP Master Data for Avanos’s chargeback and tracings team. The incumbent is the subject matter expert for their assigned area and is the primary contact for problem analysis and resolution support. This position is accountable for gathering information requirements and working with the business to define standards and rules to ensure master data integrity and is compliant with defined information and policies. Job Roles and Responsibilities: Creating and maintaining all data related to Customer information in SAP: Direct Customers Indirect Customers Customer information for Customer Financial Services transactions: Resolving incomplete sales order issues Updating banking, credit card, and payer information Resolving billing and invoice communication discrepancies Global support for all Avanos regions and businesses Providing key support and training on the Customer Master Data Reports on monthly key metrics Identify and participate in continuous improvement efforts to implement process changes which free up resources and/or drive cost savings Supporting other customer service or sales operations work as needed Apply appropriate data review processes to audit and cleanse customer master data; research potential duplicate records; ensure compliance with naming and address standards Your Qualifications: Required: This hybrid role is based in Alpharetta, GA and requires three days per week in the office. 0-2 years of experience in working with customer master data in a corporate setting Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Demonstrates strong communication skills and proven ability to work in a team environment Demonstrates problem solving skills and the ability to make decisions on data cleansing Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data quality Preferred: Experience in key systems including SAP Experience in Salesforce.com Avanos Medical is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other characteristic protected by law.
