Job Description Job Description Job Description: We're seeking a Jr. Estimator with a strong math and problem solving skillset, who communicates well, and is interested in learning proprietary methods. This role involves working within project requirements, creating cost estimates, and managing vendor bids. The ability to prioritize various projects and timelines is critical to success in this industry. Responsibilities: Analyze project details to understand requirements. Develop cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment. Handle vendor bids and present estimates to stakeholders. Stay informed on industry trends and conduct market research. Build relationships with vendors and contractors. Assist teammates & Project Managers with change orders, special requests, & other tasks Skills: Multi-tasking & task prioritization ability Strong numerical skills and comfort with mathematical concepts. Attention to detail and methodical work approach. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Flexibility and a willingness to learn new methods. Basic knowledge of commercial market conditions. Preferred: Associate degree acceptable, Bachelor's degree preferred Relevant experience acceptable in lieu of education Familiarity with Google Sheets/Excel, Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite.
