Job Description Position: Spanish Instructor Reports To: Head of
Upper School Division: Upper School FLSA Classification: Exempt

Summary: The Upper School Spanish Instructor is responsible for
teaching Spanish to students grades 9th-12th in upper level
courses, with a dynamic and energetic attitude. The candidate
should have excellent oral and written communication skills,
fluency in Spanish (ideally as a native speaker) and an educational
philosophy and Christian worldview consistent with the mission of
MPCS. He or she must demonstrate proficiency with technology and a
willingness to integrate technology into classroom instruction. He
or she should have the desire and ability to contribute to school
life beyond the classroom, ideally as a coach or in a supportive
role in the Arts. All MPCS teachers serve as advisors and
participate in the school---s annual spiritual retreat.

Doctoral degree strongly preferred Minimum of 3 years of teaching
experience Experience teaching in a Christian and/or independent

among colleagues A genuine ability to ---connect--- with and serve
young people in a Christian community An eagerness to serve in a
faith-based academic environment Proven history of commitment to
professional development and lifelong learning Excellent
organizational and planning skills Ability to multitask Very strong
interpersonal skills and ability to use sound judgment A genuine
