for an Elementary Special Education Teacher opportunity located
onsite in McDonough, GA. The assignment spans from January 13,
2026, to May 22, 2026, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
The role is designed for a general education teacher with special
education expertise to support elementary students in a classroom
setting. Key Responsibilities: Deliver inclusive instruction
tailored to the academic and developmental needs of elementary
students with special education requirements Collaborate with
general education teachers and support staff to create and
implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Monitor student
progress and adjust teaching strategies to maximize learning
outcomes Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with
parents and school personnel Foster a supportive and positive
learning environment that encourages student growth Qualifications
and Experience: Active Georgia Professional Standards Commission
(GaPSC) Teaching Certificate with required Elementary Education
endorsements Demonstrated experience in elementary education and
special education settings Strong classroom management skills and
ability to engage young learners Knowledge of special education
laws, assessment tools, and instructional best practices Excellent
communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with educators
