Candidates are required to work together with their co teachers on completing daily activities for the classroom which include but are not limited to implementing curriculum changing diapers feeding cleaning and sanitizing. Hourly pay varies depending on experience and degree level. Skill Sets: Coachable Competent and confident High Integrity Good listening and follow-up skills Able to work with others harmoniously High coping capabilities Solution and detail-oriented Strong organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Job Type: Full-time/ Monday through Friday Work Location: In person Duties Teacher Responsibilities: Supervision and daily class functions of a group of children Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment Observes all rules and regulations at Chroma Early Learning Academy and the local, state, and national agencies pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Chroma Early Learning Academy curriculum and programming Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence Provides verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas, and playgrounds Attends all staff meetings, workshops, and/or school functions Maintains overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the Chroma Early Learning Academy Employee Handbook Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children Requirements Satisfactory Background Check Nice To Haves Must be at least 18 years of age Benefits Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Discount for childcare About Us Our Company is based out of Alpharetta, GA operating 18 Childcare Centers around Metro Atlanta
