For more information, visit Job SummaryReporting to the Director, Global Medical Education, the Professional Education Administrative Assistant is responsible for ensuring the prompt payment of Health Care Professionals (as defined under the Physician Payment Sunshine Act) for professional clinical education programs conducted on behalf of Avanos Medical. Responsibilities include the use of existing commercial systems to process HCP payments, as well as performing standard administrative support tasks that are clerical in nature.? ????Responsibilities:
  • Achieve functional area goals and objectives set by the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer (CECO) and the Director, Global Medical Education
  • Ensure that professional education activities are executed within all applicable compliance and regulatory guidelines
  • Process invoices and payments for Health Care Professionals (HCPs) in support of service activities
  • Help build collaborative relationships with faculty team both domestically as well as globally
  • Act as the liaison between internal stakeholders, participants and Medical Education faculty
  • Assist in the management of the allocated budget for Avanos Medical education programs
  • Provide status reports on professional education programs to management/auditor(s) as requested
  • Embrace the High Performance Management System (HPMS) mindset and the Company?s culture of Values ?Job Requirements:Education:? Bachelor?s degree (or 2-5 years of equivalent work experience) is required?Experience Requirements:
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in project management roles (or similar)
    • Knowledge and experience with SAP S/4, to include: vendor ID creation, opening Purchase Orders and Purchasing Requisitions, invoice management and payment tracking? ??Other Required Skills and Qualities:
      • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
      • Excellent communication, technical, customer service and interpersonal skills
      • Effective oral and written communication with medical professionals and internal stakeholders
      • Ability to be creative, prioritize, plan work activities and use time efficiently
      • Ability to independently set and manage multiple competing priorities
      • Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
      • Knows how to access and navigate through electronic databases, the internet and Outlook
      • Able to set-up and manage a hard copy or electronic filing system
      • Comfortable supporting more than one team member and interacting with different types of clients
      • Knowledge of the AdvaMed Code of Ethics on Interactions with Health Care Professionals, Federal Anti-Kickback statutes, Medicare Fraud and Abuse laws, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and the Physician Payment Sunshine Act?Preferred Qualifications:
        • Experience working with outside vendors/partners
