Director Governance Risk Compliance Engineering - Issuer TechnologyManages the engagement of Issuer Technology across various risk, compliance, security and audit programs. Responsible for ensuring Issuer Technology---s involvement in operating risk, client audit requirements, security compliance and vulnerability management are consistently adhered to and represented to the various Risk, Compliance and Audit organizations. This may include establishing guidelines, engineering framework or policy to ensure risk exposure is limited. Develops processes for efficient reporting to senior and executive leadership. Consults on an ongoing basis on related issues with managers and Issuer Technology Chief Technology Officer. Ensures conformance with applicable controls and regulations, as well as ensures risk and compliance training is met.Essential Functions:Ensures operational compliance policies and programs for governance, data security, privacy, ethical business practices, and financial services industry standards are met across Issuer Technology. Manages a team that works across various groups that assesses, monitors and verifies compliance of business processes. Manages controls, deliverables and risk activities across Issuer Technology. Leads the engagement with various risk and compliance organizations that perform identification, examination and analysis of process design, overall control effectiveness, risk mitigation. Ensures improvements of operational assurance and risk practices take place. Acts as main contact for audit, risk, compliance teams at a senior level, assesses and challenges scope where redundant to other risk activities across the technology organization. Briefs senior and executive management on risk, compliance and audit matters. Ensures business continuity planning is consistent across Issuer Technology. Acts contact point for risk incidents and coordinates across application / technology owners. Leads continuity awareness and education initiatives to ensure compliance is consistent. Designs, develops, implements and continuously improves risk engagement, practices, processes automation and methodologies to ensure Issuer Technology maintains a proactive approach to risk. Develops action plans for advancing compliance initiative and for resolving outstanding issues. Anticipates how the organization must adapt to change.
