If so, then come join the Business Systems team at PDI! As an
Integration Engineer II on the Business Systems team, you will be
responsible for designing and developing customized solutions to
integrate key financial and operational systems for the global PDI
business. This includes customized software applications,
integrations, custom reporting databases, and customizations to the
Salesforce platform. This will involve meeting with project
managers, analyzing project objectives, developing/maintaining
applications and custom integrations, creating customer workflows,
maintaining user roles, and troubleshooting application errors. To
ensure success, you should have extensive application development
skills and the ability to solve complex software problems across
multiple environments. As a member of the Business Systems team,
you will also play a key role in implementing, integrating, and
optimizing key ERP and CRM products and business processes that
support the global business. This goes beyond just Salesforce to
include customizations for NetSuite and other key applications,
integrating productivity and other tools into a comprehensive
operating ecosystem, and assimilating and integrating entire
businesses through merger and acquisition activities.
Responsibilities + Participate in design decisions for new and
existing application development, proactively escalating issues and
seeking assistance to overcome obstacles + Prepare and provide
project status, estimates of effort, and risk assessments with
appropriate levels of detail to ensure that programs stay on
schedule + Actively develop internal software solutions and systems
integrations for key global PDI internal systems + Use a
disciplined approach in an Agile environment to assist in analysis
and determination of preferred solutions to technical challenges +
Perform testing to ensure systems meet documented user requirements
+ Troubleshoot, test, and validate software issues; resolve issues
with due urgency and maintain thorough documentation of all
software solutions + Compile test results to provide data for use
in solving problems + Perform engineering level tests to find
defects; troubleshoot and debug development and production issues,
collaborating with QA Engineers to develop optimal product test
plans Knowledge, Skills & Abilities + 2-5 years experience
designing and developing new or maintaining existing software
applications in a software product or internal systems development
environment + Minimum proficiency required in one or more of the
following: .Net and C#, SQL, JavaScript Frameworks (Knockout,
Angular, etc.), ASP.NET, MVC. + Familiarity with the Visual Studio
IDE and the use of TFS or Jira + Practical experience with SDLC and
Agile methodologies + Highly motivated self-starter with a desire
to help others and take action + Strong written and verbal
communication skills with the ability to translate technical
concepts into non-technical terms + Ability to independently work
as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team + Ability
to multi-task and prioritize tasks with competing deadlines +
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to
work under pressure + Ability to socialize ideas and influence
decisions without direct authority + Collaborative in nature with a
strong desire to dig in and learn independently and as well as
through asking questions + Considers 'best-practice' standards, as
well as departmental policies and procedures + Computer science
fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures & algorithms +
Experience with Salesforce or NetSuite is preferred but not
required + Must be legally permitted to work in the United
