Apply today to make a meaningful impact here at Premier Automation by helping us further our mission & goals!Job Profile:As an -Engineer at Premier Automation, you will be interfacing with customers to meet their various custom specifications and working with the Electrical Engineering team to design and program PLC and HMI hardware. This Engineer will begin in our shop, learning the ins and outs of our production, then move into testing our jobs and then into the field for commissioning. This is a great opportunity to learn the business as one of our Engineers.Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Some travel required (20%)
• Participate in the design, implementation, testing, commissioning and evaluation of automation systems
• Interact with internal staff and shop floor personnel, as required, in the performance of job responsibilities
• Work with customer to finalize system design, controls package, and operator interface.
• Complete Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test
• Generating Bill of Materials
• PLC Hardware design and drawings
• Interfacing with customers to meet expectations
• Provide expert technical advice on PLC's and HMI's to customersDesired Skills and Experience:
  • 4 Year Degree - BSEE
  • Applicable internship experience
  • PLC and HMI programming experience
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong Attention to detail
