Job Description:

As a Product Realization Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving growth in the performance polymers portfolio by leading the industrialization of new products and compounding processes for specialty thermoplastic compounds. We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Ph.D. Chemical Engineer/Polymer Engineer with 7-10 years of relevant experience who will develop, monitor, evaluate, and implement advancements in high performance polymer compounding technology.

Job Requirements:
--- Ph.D. in polymer science/engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, mechanical engineering, or related fields with 7-10 years relevant experience strongly preferred
--- Experience directing and executing research projects
--- Excellent technical foundation in polymer science, especially structure-property relationships and polymer processing
--- Very strong communication (oral and written), organizational, and interpersonal/teamwork skills
--- Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills and a desire to develop others, including junior scientists
--- Ability to handle multiple projects, balance priorities, and execute with appropriate urgency
--- Experience with engineering or specialty thermoplastics and their processing

--- Hands-on mechanical skills/aptitude is desirable
