environments. The ideal candidate will have experience integrating
Simulink models with Siemens S7 PLCs using SIMIT, Simulink PLC
Coder, and OPC UA for real-time co-simulation and
hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing. This role supports the
development of advanced marine power and energy systems for both
commercial and naval applications. How You'll Make an Impact
Develop and validate high-fidelity models of electrical,
mechanical, and marine systems using MATLAB/Simulink and Simcenter
Amesim, including power electronics, drives, motors, drivetrain
components, and environmental conditions such as wave dynamics and
vessel motion. Integrate simulation models with Siemens S7 PLCs
using tools such as Simulink PLC Coder, SIMIT, and OPC UA for
co-simulation, HIL testing, and real-time validation. Support
system design, implementation, and commissioning phases, ensuring
model fidelity and real-time performance. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to integrate simulated electrical models
into full vessel prototypes, supporting testing, commissioning, and
field deployment. Maintain compliance with industry standards
