Job Description:
You will be the Flight Line Test Mechanic C-130 for the team
which is responsible for performing the servicing and
troubleshooting of complex aircraft systems. What You Will Be Doing
As the Flight Line Test Mechanic C-130, you will be responsible for
determining methods, tools, operations, and sequences necessary to
rework, check out, and service aircraft structures, hydraulic and
plumbing, rigging, and mechanical systems, and power plants
requiring ingenuity in deviating from standard practices and in
adapting and altering structures and systems configurations to meet
special requirements. Your responsibilities will include: Making
changes and replacements to hydraulic, plumbing, and rigging
systems, fuel and oil units, power plants, etc. Making any
permissible adjustments to ship's systems in order that they meet
flight line requirements Mocking-up, fabricating, and installing
new parts, structures, and systems and performing final flight
servicing, troubleshooting, and operational checkout of complex
aircraft for airworthiness and conformance to applicable design
specifications Correcting all malfunctions and defects revealed on
the ground and/or in flight Utilizing computerized state-of-the-art
equipment to troubleshoot complex systems and applying advanced
skills and ingenuity to analyze and correct malfunctions What’s In

candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced mechanic with a
strong knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and power plants.
You will have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work
with complex systems, and the ability to apply advanced skills and
ingenuity to analyze and correct malfunctions. Further Information
About This Opportunity MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is
located at a facility that requires special access. GAhourly Basic
Qualifications 1. Four years experience within the past eight years
in Flight Line Aircraft systems maintenance, functional checkout,
preflight, troubleshooting, correction of flight squawks, and
engine/apu performance checks. A minimum of two of the four years
must have been actual flight line work on live Aircraft Systems. 2.
The following education and/or experience which was received within
the past eight years may be used to offset a portion of the first
two years of experience requirements as stated below: o Aircraft
technical school training may be included in the four year minimum
requirement for persons spending four years in Military Service. o
A two year Associate Degree program in Aviation Maintenance
Technology may be substituted for one year of experience. o Each
year of Active Reserve/National Guard Aircraft Systems Maintenance
duty may be substituted for two months of experience up to a
maximum of sixteen months. OR A graduate, within the last six
months, of a certified Aircraft Systems Mechanic Apprenticeship
Program which is typically 8,000 hours and includes OJT experience
maintaining aircraft. LMASC's 6,000 hour program is acceptable.

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be
performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work
Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of
alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. National Pay Statement
The base range for this position in California is $28.24 - 45.43.
