Job Description:
You will be the Production Assembler - F35 for the team which is
responsible for assembling and installing various components of the
F35 aircraft. What You Will Be Doing As the Production Assembler -
F35, you will be responsible for using jigs and fixtures, rivet
upsetting and bench assembly equipment, and hand tools to assemble
and install components. Your responsibilities will include: Using
rules, squares, protractors, and dividers to ensure accurate
assembly and installation Reading and interpreting detail,
assembly, and installation blueprints or other authorized documents
to obtain assembly and installation information and material
callouts Using arithmetic, including decimals and fractions, to
perform calculations and measurements Working to tolerances as
required for the type of work described herein Assembling and
installing components using jigs and fixtures, rivet upsetting and

candidate will be a highly skilled and detail-oriented assembler
with experience working with jigs and fixtures, rivet upsetting and
bench assembly equipment, and hand tools. You will have excellent
problem-solving skills, the ability to read and interpret
blueprints, and the ability to work to tight tolerances. Further

GAhourly Basic Qualifications Requires twelve months previous
experience in production assembly-type work or mechanical
experience such as HVAC, Automotive, Construction, or bench
assembly. - Must be able to read assembly blueprints - Must be
familiar with basic hand tools - Must perform and pass required
testing during training and pass the hands on Proficiency
Demonstrations to retain employment Desired skills Sheetmetal
experience Drilling experience Technical experience similar to Auto
mechanic/auto body repair, HVAC technician, construction experience

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with
this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits.
