Job Description:
You will be the Harness Design Engineer for the Advanced
Development Programs (ADP) which is responsible for delivering
cutting?edge aircraft harness and interconnect solutions. What You
Will Be Doing As the Harness Design Engineer you will be
responsible for applying deep technical expertise to solve complex
wiring and power?distribution challenges while partnering closely
with systems, mechanical, structural, and integration teams. Your
responsibilities will include: Produce electrical wiring schematic
drawings and design intricate power?distribution systems. Translate
electrical specifications into clear routing diagrams, cable
layouts, and detailed installation procedures, coordinating with
cross?functional teams. Create and maintain comprehensive
wiring?harness documentation, support prototype builds,
troubleshoot integration issues, and manage change requests.
Develop supplier statements of work and oversee system check?outs
to ensure supplier deliverables meet requirements. Work directly
with manufacturing during build?up to diagnose and resolve system

electrical design professional with proven experience in aircraft
harness development. You bring strong analytical and
problem?solving skills, thrive in collaborative environments, and
excel at translating complex requirements into practical, compliant
designs. Your background includes supplier management,
change?control processes, and hands?on troubleshooting with
manufacturing. As a U.S. citizen, you understand the importance of
security and integrity in mission?critical programs. Further
Information About This Opportunity MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This
position is located at a facility that requires special access. The
selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to
start. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Electrical
Engineering - Experience creating electrical schematics or wiring
diagrams - Experience with Capital Logic, AutoCAD Electrical, or
equivalent Electronic Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool - Ability to
obtain and maintain Active Top Secret Clearance per business
requirements Desired skills - Electrical Harness Design and
Installation Experience HIGHLY DESIRED - Hands on experience with
aircraft modifications - Experience working on a small team
covering all aspects of system design from concept through testing
- Knowledge of industry electrical wire harness assembly
fabrication and installation methods and processes - Experience
with aircraft harness, wiring or cable design/schematics -
Experience with Teamcenter, ENOVIA or equivalent PLM software. -
Active Top Secret Clearance - 5 years of professional experience;
or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be
performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work
Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of
alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance
Information This position requires a government security clearance,
you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual
base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts,
and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado,
Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont,
Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary
information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers
factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of
the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key
skills as well as market and business considerations when extending
an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life
Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k)
match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance,
Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state
applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at

Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually;
receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave,

calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major
metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is
$98,300 - $170,315. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
