Job Description:

Neenah is actively searching for a Director, Talent & Performance Management who will be responsible for leading the Company's talent and performance management agenda across the organization, to include responsibility for leading performance management, talent development, succession planning and the global learning strategies. Performance Management and Talent Development is focused on designing, developing and delivering learning & development solutions, platforms and strategies for Neenah employees and leaders around the globe. S/he will build and foster the Company's Talent & Performance Management global Center of Excellence (COE) and report to the Chief Administrative Officer & Chief Human Resources Officer, and will be based in our world headquarters in Alpharetta, GA.ResponsibilitiesThis leader will be responsible for developing and implementing practical, impactful performance and talent management strategies and processes as well as the employee engagement strategies.This individual will also implement strategies and coordinate learning and development products and services that provide meaningful and innovative functional and leadership development opportunities and career-pathing through a variety delivery vehicles.Develop and implement a refreshed Talent & Performance Management framework, informed by Neenah's commitment to create a workplace that supports the success of our people by investing in their personal development and career growth, aimed to create consistent and simplified processes to measure and develop employee performance across the organization, align individual goals to the goals of the organization, help our people grow and develop new skills and competencies that enable them to maximize their individual contribution and career progression and foster a culture of on-going coaching conversations, or "check-ins," to drive continuous development.Key elements of the Talent & Performance Management framework include clear Roles, Responsibilities & Objectives (RROs), inextricably linked to Neenah's desired outcomes and inclusive of meaningful target-setting (stretch, yet achievable), build out of employees' Talent Profile repository, on-going Performance Management, Career Development, a consistent, qualitative annual Performance Rating Scale, Talent Reviews & Succession Planning, Critical Role Identification & Criteria, 9-Box introduction, placement and calibration (blending individual performance over time and potential) and enabling talent differentiation.The position will also drive consistent and regular organizational capability and talent reviews, including a succession planning process that will inform development areas of focus for the organization (focused on both incumbent capabilities and succession pipeline health).Advance the companys performance culture, people and engagement strategies.Collaborate with the Company's leadership and Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) to translate business objectives into development products and services.Develop and execute global strategies to engage and retain a diverse slate of highly-qualified and culturally-aligned talent across the globe.Provide World Class customer service to HRBPs, HR COE colleagues and employees around the globe.Ensure quality external candidate pipelines in areas that are identified as talent gaps or critical capabilities based on the outputs of regular talent review exercises.Constantly seek out and measure the impact of new tools, techniques and networks to identify diverse slates of top external talent.Assess current global leadership platform curriculum for employee development needs within in the organization and develop and implement products and services that will meet the companys short and long-term needs.Develop and drive communication, awareness and support of development initiatives and expectations throughout all of Neenah by partnering with leadership and HRBPs.Develop and drive consistent talent organization capability review and succession planning processes that will inform development areas of focus to include:Specific focus on critical role identification and individualized development plans for critical role incumbents and successors.Development of specific development programs for High Potential talent.Conduct capabilities assessment post strategic planning cycle and link to workforce planning process, talent risk assessments and other diagnostics that support internal and external candidate moves.Partner with Total Rewards team to ensure that rewards are aligned to top talent.Develop and execute functional skill building products and services.Partner with Human Resources (HR) leaders to:Assist in the development and lead the execution of Neenah strategic people plan, ensuring that Neenah internal talent receives appropriate opportunities for development.Develop state-of-the-art processes for assessing skills, performance and behaviors for all talent selection exercises.Develop and constantly evaluate consistent, globally-relevant on-boarding best practices to ensure engagement of new employees from day one of employment.Play a leadership role in helping develop our HR talent as well as our people within the Talent & Performance Management COE.Partner with the Company's Talent Acquisition team to provide tools to help successfully and efficiently evaluate and secure top talent for the organization and maintaining an external pipeline of diverse talent.QualificationsBS/BA or University degree.Entrepreneurial spirit, with demonstrated experience working in fast-paced environment.Ability to work successfully in a highly matrixed environment.12-15+ years of experience developing and deploying impactful talent solutions in a complex global company.Consumer and/or Industrial/Commercial Products industry experience preferred.Expertise in learning design and delivery (multiple methods of delivery).Ability to generate results through influence in a matrix environment with multiple and diverse global stakeholders.Demonstrated capability to interact directly with senior leaders and management.Demonstrated expertise in leading Learning & Development curriculum development, instructional design, implementation and facilitation.Proven ability to plan, organize, prioritize and effectively manage multiple complex projects concurrently and develop in a fast-paced environment.Very strong analytical capability.Ability to partner in a seamless, integrated HR model where an employee's life cycle is at the center of all HR processes.--Creative, innovative approach to developing employees with a strong understanding of how to deliver development product & services for a diverse employee baseDemonstrated service mentality.Demonstrated sense of urgency.Strong work ethic and demonstrated "get things done" mentality.Demonstrated track record of successful large, scale program roll-out, including change management and communications.
