Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop short and
long-term Enterprise Applications strategic plans aligned with the
Water Care's business strategies, goals, plans, and operating
requirements. The Director of Enterprise Applications will be a
hands-on leader who is responsible for providing the core
operational applications, people and technology to support all
enterprise applications. This individual will manage--a team of
direct reports in addition to several vendors providing managed
services and project deliveries that include ERP, B2B, eCommerce,
CRM and analytics applications.* Establish Enterprise Applications
strategies, tactics and goals that align with Water Care's company
strategies. Monitor and report performance regularly.* Lead your
team as business and technology demands and opportunities change,
drive continuous improvement and deliver a high quality service
that supports the business and enables cost effective applications
solutions.* Set the course for software architecture to
continuously improve functionality, cost effectiveness,
performance, reliability, resilience, and availability.*
Collaborate with the Directors of Infrastructure and Digital
Products and their teams to ensure software is being designed and
developed in alignment with Infrastructure architectural direction
to ensure that application development can be effectively supported
from design & development through deployment and maintenance.*
Develop, document, implement and institutionalize Enterprise
Applications processes and procedures in line with organizational
needs. Specifically implement agreed upon modified waterfall and
Agile processes. Also support ITIL processes including, but not
limited to, Capacity Management, Availability Management, IT
Service Continuity Management, Incident Management, Change
Management, Release Management and Configuration Management. Ensure
that all Enterprise Applications processes integrate seamlessly
with managed service vendors' processes.* Deliver a robust metrics
reporting capability in support of all Enterprise Applications and
ITIL processes, including monthly SLA reporting for all relevant IT
vendors in addition to SLAs with the Water Care business.* Build
out and maintain Disaster Recovery applications capabilities,
policy and processes.* Lead and manage the planning and
implementation of systems and projects. Ensure adherence to PMO
project methodology and guidelines.* Investigate and evaluate new
technologies for future planning and potential implementation.
Maintain professional contacts with other companies, research
bodies and equipment manufacturers concerning changes and trends
within the industry.* Develop, document and implement the
company-wide cybersecurity strategies, technology, policies and
procedures. Ensure Enterprise Applications delivers solutions that
are compliant with appropriate security and privacy safeguards.*
Negotiate information systems contracts with vendors to ensure
efficient and effective use of financial resources.* Ensure vendor
management best practices are in place and drive metrics and
related vendor performance reviews on a monthly basis.Preferred
experience:* Providing IT applications services and increasing
levels of IT Enterprise Applications leadership with Industry
experience in process manufacturing, distribution and CPG.*
Supporting key business platforms that include SAP (ERP, Hybris,
IBP, BW, PO), Salesforce (CRM), and multiple SaaS enterprise
applications.* Delivering big data and analytics solutions within a
CPG or retail environment is preferred.* Experience delivering and
supporting customer-facing eCommerce solutions within B2B, B2C and
B2B2C is preferred.* Ensuring that an effective cybersecurity
program is deployed and maintained at the appropriate level.
Experience with PCI and GDPR is preferred. Experience with OWASP
applications security methods is highly preferred.* Implementing,
integrating and supporting Microsoft Office 365 solutions is
preferred. Delivering applications within Microsoft Azure cloud
services is highly preferred.* Developing requirements internally
and delivering solutions with external development organizations is
preferred.* Experience with CI/CD pipeline technology is
preferred.* Supporting, migrating and continuously improving
Enterprise Applications services within a multi-vendor
environment.* Working closely with managed service providers for
Service Desk, application support, application maintenance and
development, analytics solutions development, and support of SaaS
products is highly preferred. Minimum of 10 years working in roles
with increasing responsibilities over Enterprise Applications.*
Enabling new business capabilities during an acquisition carve-out
and the establishment of a new IT organization is preferred.*
Managing Enterprise Applications resources within a hybrid
on-premises and cloud environment, 5 years preferred.* Leading
Enterprise Applications resources and supporting global business
and external customers. Working experience outside of North America
is highly preferred.* Meeting regulatory and risk compliance
requirements (e.g., SOX, PCI, GDPR) and working closely with
internal and external compliance organizations, 10 years is
preferred.* Aligning operational and capital investment in IT,
developing Enterprise Applications operational and capital budgets,
and ensuring IT's financial responsibilities are well managed, 5
years is preferred.Education / Experience Requirements: *
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or
related engineering degree program* 10 to 15 years of related IT
experience* 5 to 10 years related management experience* Equivalent
