The Sales Organization is searching for a dynamic and focused Strategic Accounts Sales Executive with experience in sophisticated software and subscription solution sales to large and complex accounts in the convenience retail, petroleum wholesale, and logistics industries. The Strategic Accounts Sales Executive will align PDI with key customers to better serve them, including identifying and positioning PDI products and services to meet customer needs. These regional, national, and global firms have strong growth trajectories and are thought leaders in their industries. The Strategic Accounts Sales Executive will also be responsible for driving the appropriate engagement and executive leadership alignment to ensure customer satisfaction. If you want to be hands-on, welcome a challenge, and don't want to settle for good-enough -join our team!Responsibilities* Develop account specific plans focused on maximizing customer satisfaction and growing the funnel of products and services across PDI's lines of business* Communicate and inspire the PDI vision and strategy * Align customer's needs and requirements with PDI's capabilities, positioning complex solutions through value-based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis, and data* Must be able to strike the right balance between building and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction with a growing share of mind and wallet * Coordinate with other departments within the organization to be able to meet client commitments, including engineering, development, customer success, marketing, finance, legal and professional services* Work with senior management to develop sales and opportunity strategy* Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key customers to ensure PDI is viewed as a trusted and strategic partner Qualifications* Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience* Sales and/or account management experience in/around c-store, petroleum wholesale, and logistics industries* 7+ years of related business and sales and account management experience along with a proven track record of success in complex solution sales to major customers* Demonstrated history of managing the sales process and developing strategic roadmaps that align customer needs, business issues, and opportunities with industry best practices* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including establishing credibility and trust with cross-functional teams that can impact the customer including engineering, development, customer success, marketing, finance, legal and professional services * Comfortable multi-tasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced, high growth environment * Demonstrated business acumen and strong executive presence* Ability to forge and leverage internal and external partnerships* Experience in developing and executing solution sales strategies for complex accountsPDI's employee-oriented culture provides a supportive and dynamic work environment for high achievers.
