Summary of This Role The Associate Director, Business Intelligence is responsible for leading and driving cross-functional strategy and efforts for the Customer Engagement team. This role is responsible for solving complex business problems and issues using data to provide insight to decision-makers. -This leader will define the tools, technologies, applications, and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present raw data to create insightful and actionable business information. Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: What Part Will You Play? Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: Lead a team of analyst to deliver superior quality to both internal and external clients Arm internal Account Management, Sales, and Consulting teams with client portfolio insights Automate portfolio dashboards for ease of access and usage Develop machine learning models to gain insights and identify trends within client portfolio data (ex: response, attribution, user segmentation) Integrate new approaches into our existing analytics framework Communicate insights and recommendations to teams and business stakeholders Develop scalable data tools and dashboards to generate insights that lead to a better understanding of client performance and opportunities for TSYS to provide products/solutions to meet client needs. Scope and drive ad hoc analysis that uses customer data to address high-priority customer questions Proactively provide account teams' portfolio insights by client with benchmark and comparison data across similar client segments. Analyze client and product performance to generate insights that can be leveraged in sales material to support the TSYS value proposition. Skills: Previous experience managing BI performance to coach a team of analyst in data-driven insights automation Clear vision and strategy for data tools, dashboarding, and data visualization Strong leadership skills that will help develop a team of business intelligence analyst Credit card issuing expertise Passionate about applying data and analytics to card issuer portfolio data Ability to synthesize findings and visualize data to tell a story (experience with dashboard-building tools) Superior critical thinking skills and analytic abilities to interpret complex data Technical background, strong quantitative skills & experience with troubleshooting data issues. Self-starter with the ability to learn new data models and applications at a rapid pace What Are We Looking For in This Role? Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and technical experience in data analysis and intelligence OR Master's degree 3-4 years of leadership experience Prior experience within a credit card issuer organization Strong proficiency in dashboard development, analytical tool building, data extraction, machine learning and predictive modeling Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion to impose structure on seemingly undefined problems Possess both the analytical and creative ability to make transformative ideas happen by developing a vision and getting it done Passionate about asking questions, listening, drawing people out, synthesizing, and articulating information, ideas and needs Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and articulate fashion to both technical and non-technical audiences Global Payments Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
