Job Description:
Wesley Apartment Homes is seeking a talented Marketing &
Training Director with a passion for customer experience and
service to join its marketing and operations team. This unique
hybrid role will focus primarily on marketing efforts across the
organization and will also provide extensive training for on-site
employees. This individual will oversee all corporate and
community-level strategic marketing and branding initiatives,
ensuring that Wesley Apartment Homes remains at the forefront of
emerging trends and technologies. Working closely with the
Operations team, the Director of Marketing & Training will be
responsible for optimizing marketing efforts across all communities
to achieve occupancy goals, streamline processes, calibrate
advertising expenses, reputation management, website and ILS
audits, training compliance and leasing consultant performance
monitoring, amongst other responsibilities. Our Marketing &
Training Director role will provide the individual an opportunity
to directly and measurably impact the success of the Operations
team and the apartment communities across the portfolio and will
also work with local staff to implement strategic campaigns that
drive leads, leases, and retention. Continual training and
follow-up will also help in ensuring success of these campaigns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: -- Develop annual and
short-term marketing plans -- Define and execute an integrated
marketing platform, including but not limited to - digital
marketing branding, promotions, social media, website, and online
reputation -- Assist Operations team and Community Managers with
community-level online reputation management by offering oversight,
responses and solutions for improved ratings -- Research innovative
marketing software and new technology for increased productivity,
ease of use, cost effectiveness, or better resident experience --
Manage digital marketing touchpoints including website content and
messaging, email, social media, Google My Business, SEO - SEM
marketing, Facebook, Instagram, Yelp, etc. -- Perform market
analysis and manage advertising expenses -- Continual website and
ILS audits -- Help manage marketing vendor relationships -- Develop
collateral material and signage by working with preferred vendors
and ensuring on-time, on-budget, and strategic delivery -- Respond
to marketing-related Help Desk issues -- Build reports that track
key performance indicators for our communities -- Architect and
coordinate Employee Events, Residents events, and other key group
functions. -- Initiate branding strategy for new-construction -
lease-up projects. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: -- 3 years---
experience in marketing and training. Familiarity with the
multifamily and/or hospitality industries preferred -- BA degree in
advertising, marketing, communications, or a similar course of
study -- SEO/SEM experience -- Analytical skills to forecast and
identify marketing trends and challenges -- Entrepreneurial spirit;
a desire to constantly learn and grow in a rapidly changing
environment -- Ability to identify trends, craft a story, present
solutions and execute plans -- High personal motivation,
self-management, and detail-orientation; ability to take
responsibility in meeting deadlines and making progress without
direct supervision -- Strong communications skills; both verbal and
written -- Ability to present and train in classroom settings, as
well as on-site one-on-one training -- Flexibility and adaptability
in responding to new assignments and challenges in a fast-paced but
friendly, family-oriented environment
