Job SummaryThe Sales and Operations Team is a newly created team for Avantor Clinical Services.
The Global Sales & Operations (S&OP) Manager will lead development, implementation, management and monitoring of S&OP standards across all CS locations globally. Responsibilities include facilitating demand, conducting supply reviews and establishing consensus among functions and stakeholders. This individual will also manage and lead a Demand Planner and a Demand Analyst.

This role will also identify and implement system and process improvements within the supply chain to enable overall business process improvement, develop appropriate inventory management tools and processes to achieve organizational goals, and further develop existing forecast and supply programs to improve current days of inventory and cash cycle.
The Global Sales & Operations Manager will be responsible for analyzing the Clinical Services operation and provide clear overall goals to the Avantor Clinical Services Executive Leadership team.The S&OP Manager will lead the assessment of the Clinical Services business and create appropriate models to forecast revenue, inventory and sales. The S&OP Manager will collaborate with the finance team to review findings and goals then communicate findings to executive leadership team for review and approval. Upon approval, S&OP Manager will lead the implementation, partnering with various leadership teams within Clinical Services.Assess impact to materials availability from customer sales opportunities that may be affecting demand for product over and above the planPartner with demand management to Improve forecasting tools and procedures through application of innovative ideas and projectsDrive full utilization of ERP system (SAP) system capabilities to automate supply chain activities, and provide reports and analysis for decision making during S&OP process reviews.Lead inventory planning activities including, but not limited to, ownership and maintenance of supply planning models and/or ERP planning system.Manage the team of planner and an analyst to develop S&OP process and tools while setting up annual goals for the S&OP team.Mentor internal team members and other division on advanced tools, advises management on most efficient use of inventory dollar investment.Accountable for the raw materials management process, including forecasting, scheduling, working capital control and obsolescence management.Measure On time delivery performance, inventory performance (Raw Material + Finished Goods) while assessing delivery productivity/cost savingsPropose different scenarios/Trade-Offs at recon/exec reviews to facilitate decision making regarding capacity allocation among projects and projects.Drive profitability by optimization of capacity utilization. Working with Commercial and Finance to support development of financial reports, forecasts, risks and opportunities.Ensuring New Product Introduction forecasts are captured, aligned withincapacity, and promote landing place for new Products/Projects.Responsible for the governance in capacity planning ensuring all demand signals are captured and working collaboratively with cross functional team.Responsible for identifying risks/opportunities in the capacity profiles and presenting challenges to the Project Management teams on improvement actions.Create/maintain and support business forecast/project for business by simulating scenarios for optimal resultsProviding insight and reports into S&OP inventory trends and providing accountability to sites teams and executive leadership team on performance and impactsCreate and present various outputs for weekly/monthly demand, supply and S&OP reviews to executive team for operational transparencyCreate, implement and manage a standard work timetable for the S&OP process visible to all stakeholdersAssist in the resolution of MRP and planning discrepanciesWork cross-functionally to support supply chain priorities within the business units and division; as necessary, lead projects that close gaps and capitalize on opportunitiesDISCLAIMER:
