Reports To: - Chief Marketing Officer -Department: - Marketing-Technology Department -Work Location: - Atlanta Office (Alpharetta) -
Position Summary - - Develop local store marketing strategy, execute programs, track performance, recommend innovative programs and tactics, and provide marketing support to local stores. - The focus of the field marketing position is to drive franchise and revenue growth for existing locations and facilitate the successful initial business ramp of new locations. Innovative, out of the box thinking will be key this person to support growth at Your Pie. -
Essential Duties -

  • Develop and implement LSM calendar of initiatives to drive sales and behavior (frequency, new guests, average check building ideas) to support our overall marketing initiatives. -
  • Develop and manage the LSM Tool Kit, including program overviews, creative, etc. - -
  • Serves as a key marketing contact for the field ensuring timely and proactive communications -
  • Execute field initiatives and strategies in conjunction with local/regional marketing activities, ensuring the national brand awareness is localized according to the business needs -
  • Work with local owners, media agencies, digital and corporate marketing to create programs for franchisees -
  • Understand unit level performance and identify the opportunities and actions for growth. -
  • From field learnings, make recommendations to optimize plans and emphasize/add/improve tactics which produce the highest ROI -
  • Ensure local franchise owners are adhering to required local spend commitment in positive, strategic ways to support business growth -
  • Understand local market conditions and their potential marketing value to protect the current and create new market share -
  • Works collaboratively with Ops Services and Field Service Managers to promote high levels of execution -
  • Understand brand strategies and incorporate them into the local business building plans to grow studios and market share. -
  • Help franchisees to understand and implement successful marketing programs while complying to brand standards. -
  • Gain franchisee alignment on local and national marketing programs to ensure participation at the studio level -
  • Work collaboratively with R&D and Training Department to ensure that all initiatives, programs and campaigns are accompanied by effective, easy to understand instructions for all levels of business - -
  • Develops and implements marketing training for new restaurant opening -
  • Develops and works closely with FSMs to develop grand opening plans for new/transferred restaurants -
  • Ability to understand differences and trends across different markets and how to develop proper marketing campaigns based off data found - -
  • Proactively seeks advanced knowledge of industry trends and competitive insights -
  • Lead marketer for co-op development and management -
  • Performs other responsibilities as assigned - - -Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - -Desired Skills and Experience -
    • Strong local restaurant marketing experience with emphasis on community -
    • Capable of generating new, simple to execute sales building ideas - -
    • Analytical ability to understand how to assess the impact of programs and initiatives -
    • A great communicator capable of inspiring others to act and giving them the tools to be successful -
    • Strong communication [including written and presentations], active listening, relationship building, and negotiations skills required -
    • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills -
    • Ability to successfully multitask and prioritize job requirements while remaining very detail oriented -
    • Understand media plans and execution to include both traditional and digital media -
    • Experience using CRM and loyalty tools -
    • Ability to work well under pressure in meeting deadlines in a high-volume environment -
    • Ability to develop and maintain positive business relationships (e.g., management, stakeholders, other departments, and cross-functional teams, etc.) and foster an environment of mutual respect, understanding, trust, and support -
    • Ability to anticipate and respond to the needs of stakeholders (e.g., internal and external customers, etc.) in a timely manner -
    • Ability to adapt and adjust planned work through analyzing work demands, competing priorities, and tight deadlines; and to understand the most effective and efficient means to accomplish tasks within the parameters of the organizational structure, processes, systems, and policies -
    • Approx. 20% travel with ability to travel overnight as needed - -Education and Experience -
      • Proficient in Office 365 Suite -
      • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on marketing or project management -
      • 2-4 years project management or marketing experience -
      • Experience executing national roll outs of operational initiatives and programs. -
