Summary:The RELX Global Procurement (GP) function is a strategic procurement organization with global responsibilities for the sourcing of direct and indirect spend categories. The incumbent will be a key member of the GP organization, having global responsibility to develop, facilitate, and support policies, processes, systems, and projects related to the corporate credit card and procurement card programs. - The incumbent will work in close partnership with the financial institution(s) to administer cards, rebate, and other incentive programs. - Additionally, the incumbent will work with the GP Category teams, GP operations team, finance organizations, in establishing and supporting successful processes toward a consolidated ERP solution. - The key objectives are to create processes, documentation, reporting, support, and innovation for the card programs across RELX group. - This role could have one or more analysts supporting them for administrative activities, as appropriate.In addition to supporting corporate card processes and tools, this position will be responsible for bringing forward recommendations on process improvements within existing processes and tools to streamline operations. It will be critical for the candidate to be able to document the existing tools landscape and capture the vision of the consolidated ERP project. This role will also be responsible for certain fiduciary controls, driving card program rebates, and following appropriate steps to help utilize the liability waiver Insurance.This position is located in the United States with typical Monday-Friday hours. - Domestic and international travel may be required 3-8 times per year or as-needed. This role may have dotted-line management and coaching of additional individuals.Responsibilities:General System Administration (-60%)The Corporate Card Manager will be responsible for working with various card-related systems offered by the financial institution(s) as well as internal systems. This role is responsible for troubleshooting corporate credit card and Pcard issues, if/when issues arise, and drive improvements. - The Corporate Card Manager will be responsible for monitoring and addressing concerns raised through a central mailbox; including urgent requests which may arise while employees are traveling. Among other responsibilities, this role will deliver centralized management of all Procurement, Business Travel Account, Lodge, Meeting and Travel and Expense cards globally for RELX, as well as oversight of reporting, spend, and rebate with the financial institution.Additionally, this role will be the primary liaison between RELX Global Procurement and the financial institution with respect to system(s) and processes for administering the card program.Training (-5-10%)Review relevant transactional data for corporate card opportunities; pull or request additional information as appropriate to do in-depth analyses. - Provide recommendations to Category Leads, and support to regional and global businesses on potential Pcard/Meeting Card/Special Use Card projects, inclusive of relevant information, key issues and recommended courses of action.Reporting (-15%)The Corporate Card Manager will be responsible to generate reports including-but not limited to-the following:Credit card + Pcard spend details (monthly cadence and ad hoc/as-needed)Category-specific spend (such as software, IaaS,---) placed onto Pcards and T&E cards.Various payment and rebate reports monthly and as-needed.Consolidated Financial System (-10-15%)The Corporate Card Manager will also serve as advisor to the RELX-wide project to consolidate financial systems and processes into a more harmonious global set of procedures. - Additionally, the Corporate Card Manager will help develop policies related to card use and payment methods. - The ideal candidate therefore has experience running card program(s) globally at one or more companies previously. - Ideal candidates will have worked with large-scale SaaS-based financial systems such as SAP or Oracle.Qualifications include:Experience with Citibank and/or JP Morgan Chase credit card & procurement card programs.
