  • Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems. - - -The opportunityAs a member of the Information Security Service Delivery team, the Infrastructure Security Senior Project Manager role successfully and efficiently drives and manages strategic and tactical Security projects. The role focuses on 5 security technology disciplines: 1) Endpoint Security; 2) Data Security; 3) Vulnerability Management; 4) Network Security; 5) Cloud Security. - -Your key responsibilitiesDay-to-day, this role will:
    • Monitor and manage project baselines to ensure activities are occurring as planned - scope, budget and schedule - manage variances
    • Proactively identify risks and issues on projects - leading team to develop risk management and issues management plans
    • Identify potential points of contention for missed deliverables; create and implements strategy to mitigate shortfalls in timeline and budget
    • Anticipates problems before they occur; define problem or risk; identify possible cause; work with team to identify solutions; select and implement most appropriate solution
    • Develop and manage plans to address project strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
    • Ability to balance both the "science" of how to perform project management and the "art" of project management, which is learned through experience and skill training/application
    • Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills needed to manage multiple factors on a project simultaneously
    • Demonstrate business analytics to manage and meet sponsor and customer needs -Skills and attributes for successTo be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following core skills:
      • Strong ability to communicate fluently in English and adapt communications to various audiences, including Executives, Sponsors, Management, overall organization and project teams - includes verbal, written and presentation skills
      • Breakdown barriers of delivery with well thought out challenges and escalations if needed
      • Adherence and compliance to all required project management deliverables and requirements
      • Deep understanding of project lifecycles, including waterfall and iterative methodologies such as Agile
      • Experience developing project estimates based on identifying deliverables
      • Skilled in MS Project, including use of Resource, Assignment and Task Detail views
      • Ability to gain stakeholder buy-in and manage their expectations
      • Ability to collaborate across functional teams, cultures and geographies; build trust virtually
      • Strong working knowledge or experience with Infrastructure Security -
      • Experience of managing IT projects with personal accountability for delivering to time and cost for large, complex projects typically up to $5m in value and 12 to 18 months in duration
      • Mastery of project management methodology, tools and templates (includes project planning, schedule development, scope management and cost management)
      • Track record of customer focus, based on openness, trust, and delivering on promises
      • Extensive experience of delivery that includes the use of supplier and off-shore resources
      • Experience in managing to contract; ensuring clients and suppliers alike perform in accordance with original agreement
      • Experience across packaged and bespoke systems and infrastructure, ideally on an international basis
      • Management skills to manage one or more large, complex projects simultaneously
      • IT background with experience across the systems development life cycle with experience in all project phases - plan, initiate, elaborate, design, build, test, implement.
      • Knowledge and use of industry-standard project methods, tools and techniques e.g. RAIDS, budget, communication
      • Strong team working skills across matrixed client, supplier and geographically dispersed virtual teams
      • Strong interpersonal skills (includes negotiation)
      • Leader in the use of IT methodologies, processes and standards for project managementTo qualify for the role, you must have
        • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Project Management or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
        • 7 years in a large corporate IT environment
        • 5+ years as a project manager across various IT disciplines; InfoSec a plus, but also, infrastructure deployment, application development, large RFP's, proofs of concept, etc. 10 to 15 years in a corporate IT environment -
        • Other relevant experience in a related technical field (application development, deployment/implementation and infrastructure)
        • Work experience in a professional services industry, preferred
        • Significant work experience leading -infrastructure, network, security, and/or software development projects -
        • 5+ years project estimating and project financial management experience
        • Intermediate MS Project and Office skills, particularly with PowerPoint and Excel
        • Flexibility to work outside typical hours, as required of a global team
        • Flexibility to travel on a very limited basis -Ideally, you'll also have
          • PMP certification
          • Familiarity with ITIL v2 or 3
          • Experience in supporting a professional services and/or global IT organization
          • An understanding of Information Security tenets and priorities
