Job Description:

Siemens Mobility provides efficient and coordinated transportation of people and goods by rail - including rolling stock, rail automation, rail electrification, and service. We craft and manufacture across the entire spectrum of rolling stock, including commuter and regional passenger trains, light rail and streetcars, metros, locomotives, passenger coaches, and high-speed trainsets. Cities and Railroads also rely on us to provide traction-power substations and electricity transmission, as well as signaling and control technology for freight and passenger rail and transit systems.

Mobility Traction Drives is a rolling stock traction component manufacturer located in Alpharetta, GA. We are looking for a top-tier Commercial Manager in charge of our financial controlling and reporting requirements.

Including:

--- Financial planning and controlling of the Alpharetta operations.

--- Support of the senior management in operational finance matters.

--- Supervision of the commercial team in Alpharetta.

--- The commercial manager reports to the RS CP Finance & Business Administration director.

Responsibilities

--- Coordinate and prepare budget/ forecasts with relevant partners in time.

--- Analyze and comment on variances between actual and forecast.

--- Interface to the local and global performance controlling (PC) functions.

--- Respond to financial ad-hoc requests for information from management, HQ, PC, etc.

--- Support the organization on general reporting and accounting issues.

--- Review and approve financial documents as per the given signature authority guideline.

--- Ensure financial visibility of the value flows in the factory, propose corrective actions in case of deviations, and suggest cost optimizations.

--- Supervise and guide the commercial staff.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

--- Excellent collaboration and communication, strong analytical skills.

--- Reporting and controlling experience (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).

--- Accounting knowledge.

--- Proficiency in SAP/ Spiridon, MS Office.

--- Relevant degree in business administration or related field.

--- Working experience of 5 years or more in Siemens finance/ commercial functions.

--- Occasional travel within the US; Europe is possible.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

--- Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration.

--- Performance controlling experience in a factory or service environment.

--- Management reporting experience.

--- Mobility finance function and experience with Mobility specific tools and processes.

The base salary range for this position in Alpharetta, GA, is $142,100 - $192,200. The annual incentive target is 15% of the base salary. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
