Job Description:
A company is looking for a Field Medical Director, Radiology
(Neurology).
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the Physician match reviewer for imaging cases that do not
meet medical necessity guidelines
Discuss determinations with requesting physicians and provide
clinical rationale for appeals
Ensure compliance with medical review guidelines and assist Initial
Clinical Reviewers
Required Qualifications
MD/DO/MBBS degree
Minimum of five years of experience in the practice of Medicine,
with active clinical practice preferred within the last two
years
Current, unrestricted clinical license in medicine or required
specialty
Active Board Certification by an accredited organization
No history of major disciplinary or legal action by a state medical
board
