Manager IT Intake and Prioritization

Job Description:

The Manager of IT intake and prioritization will interface with all enterprise wide business units for all IT applications. The manager is responsible for implementation and management of the intake and prioritization process and prioritizing IT activity with the Business units. The manager will partner with the Business on process improvement and solutions involving IT applications. Regularly meet with business unit stake holders for prioritization and to provide project status updates. The position will be responsible for developing and oversee application roadmap in coordination with IT PMO office.Essential Job Functions:

  • Monitoring incoming IT system enhancement requests and drive through evaluation and prioritization process
  • Establish relationships with functional business managers in order to explore reasoning behind the request, the intent of what needs to be achieved, and the operational benefits associated
  • Partner with IT solution experts to coordinate best solution options
  • Identify and document benefits of IT system project deliveries and define key performance metrics that measure the success of IT deliveries
  • Refine business requirements needed by IT development to conduct changes
  • Provide priority directives to IT PMO to manage deliveries based on prioritization sequence
  • Develop system data flow maps to leverage in providing additional clarification of where the intended change will occur
  • Partner with IT PMO to provide system enhancement request status reports to senior leadership
  • Partner with business analysts/architects to align IT enhancement requests toward target business process modeling intended for future state

  • Coordinate with functional department to provide key performance metrics and benefits of delivered IT system modifications
  • Execute tools, such as balance scorecards to track IT enhancement requests back to corporate strategiesRequired Experience:
    • 5+ years IT system development experience managing and/or managing IT technical teams.
    • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
    • Excellence in generating requirement documentation for IT development purpose.
    • Administrator experience working JIRA and Confluence systems
    • Administrator experience working in SharePoint system
    • Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders and manage complex agendas and priorities
    • Understanding of integration management with IT solution concepts and experts
    • Experience working with and reporting out to senior business leaders
    • Ability to relate critical business functional needs to IT Development resources
    • Strong understanding of IT ERP and operational system applications
    • Detailed understanding of general business operations, including HR, finance, R&D, sales, marketing, manufacturing, and supply chain
    • Excellent project management skills
    • Strong ability to drive process improvement and coordination with cross functional teamsEducation:
      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in Information Management, Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering or Business Administration - provided by Dice -JIRA-Confluence-SharePoint-ERP-Prioritization-Intake-
