  • Develops and maintains positive client relationships.
  • Proactively manage client requests for additional information as it relates to: payer trends, system interfaces, compliance, coding, regulatory changes, and budget variance and cash flow.
  • Identify trends and recommend actions to ensure maximum productivity and profitability.
  • Stays abreast of internal and external changes to understand current and future state and provide value to the client.
  • Serves as the liaison between the client and organization.
  • Identify client improvement opportunities to enable the most efficient workflows for the client.35%Client Business Reviews and Meetings
    • Drives and delivers business reviews/client meetings on a regular basis with high level of planning and professionalism.
    • Prepares agenda, handouts, and presentations to ensure all client needs are being met as it relates to: service deliverable performance, current trends, future needs of the business, operational excellence, and metrics.
    • Works collaboratively with auditors and analysts to ensure proper information is reviewed and presented.
    • Collaborates on new client implementations including: system interfaces, client set-up, contract review and liaison with Legal, and operational setup.30%Grow footprint in own service area
      • Works with Executive Director and/or operational leadership to identify areas for "up selling" opportunities based on client needs and industry changes.
      • Provides guidance on new/current service offerings based on industry trends and changing client needs.15%Assist in the development and support of auditors to meet and exceed revenue requirements based on documented productivity standards.
        • Ensure job specific training requirements are thoroughly met for current and newly hired team members
          • Assist in optimizing revenue goals within the division.
          • Meeting set productivity standards set in individual performance document.
          • Maintain client data and protocols.10%Coordinates with other BU functions
            • Works collaboratively across functions to ensure operational excellence related to invoicing, AR, payments, customer service and all related services.
            • Ensures mutual understanding of goals, objectives and action plans related to client's revenue, charge capture and book of business.5%Perform internal set responsibilities.
              • Maintain a thorough knowledge of all functions and processes performed within the department. Coordinate and resolve escalated client issues and correspondence.
              • Ensure all month end responsibilities are met, e.g. Invoicing, Time Keeping, Paid Time Off (PTO), Billable hours.
              • Ensure Time and Attendance functions are completed in an accurate and timely manner (i.e. maintaining attendance logs, entering paid time off, editing missed punches, approving employee time, etc.)
              • Utilize processes and systems for data maintenance, and to ensure month end audits, reports and hours are complete and accurate.3%Perform or ensure quality assurance audits of staff are performed and reported to staff and executive team.
                • Analyze medical record/documentation and compare to hospital specific protocols and practices and/or industry and department standards.
                  • Ensure accuracy of chart audits through acquired knowledge of customer payor mix financial classes, contract and reimbursement rates.
                    • Ensure audits are completed in a timely and accurately manner.2%100%Minimum Requirements:
                      • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experienceCritical Skills:
                        • 5+ years of healthcare facility charge capture, or related experience in acute care hospital setting
                        • 3+ years managing professional exempt and non-exempt staff
                        • Demonstrable examples of proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
                        • Experience in reading and interpreting electronic and manual documentation generated by healthcare professionals
                        • Proficient Communication with hospital revenue cycle leaders, peers, payors
                        • Excellent oral and written communication skills
                        • Demonstrable strong organizational, leadership, problem solving and analytical skillsAdditional Skills:
                          • 2+ years P&L management
                          • Clinical certification a plus, such as RN, LV/PN, RT, CPhT, PT, LPTA
                          • HIM or Coding certification a plus, e.g. RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPCWorking Conditions:
                            • Physical Requirements (Lifting, standing, etc.) ' General office work, using keyboard for majority of the day.
                            • Environment ' Remote office
