Supervising Psychiatrist

Location: Alpharetta
Posted on: August 4, 2022

Job Description:

When Thriveworks began in 2008, our goal was two-fold: to improve the counseling experience for both clients and clinicians. Today, we recruit the best mental health professionals we can find and work to provide them with an exciting, rewarding career. Additionally, we search for skilled, compassionate professionals to join HR, credentialing, marketing, product, or another team. All members are important to our helping clients live better - and they find happiness and success for themselves here, too. Thriveworks is seeking a Supervising Psychiatrist to join our growing team of highly talented mental health professionals. The ideal candidate will share our commitment to quality healthcare and exceptional patient service. Thriveworks is a clinician-founded national private practice group with locations in 48 states. Our mission is to help people live happy, successful lives, and we believe that client accessibility, integrity, and quality care are what is most important. We put a lot of emphasis on the thought that-in order for our clinical team to be accessible to clients-we must fully support our clinicians by allowing them to do what they are trained to do. We operate under the idea that we are most successful by focusing on one job and being great at that job. In an effort to maintain safety and best practices for our clinicians and patients via telemedicine, Thriveworks does not currently prescribe any stimulant or benzodiazepine medications for adults. We do not currently treat substance use disorders, and make every effort to refer out to an in person provider when symptoms arise that are too severe to be treated via telemedicine only.
