Performs measurements and calculations according to laboratory protocol, provideswritten or verbal summary of the preliminary finds to the interpreting physician, is responsible for the safety and wellbeingof all patients in the department, must possess the ability to communite effective with the patients(s), family, andhealth care team. Willl also perform other assisgned duties and travel to other WellStar locations may be required. -1180 Barrett ParkwayKennesaw, -Georgia -30144QualificationsRequired Minimum Education: Associate or Bachelor's Degree. Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonographyprogram or an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program preferred.Required Minimum Experience: At least one year experience performing pediatric cardiac ultrasound exams.Required Minimum Licensure/Certification: Certification through American Registry for Diagnostic MedicalSonography (ARDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with a Pediatric Echocardiographer(PE) specialty or Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS).
