Walmart Inc., a renowned leader in retail, is seeking a dedicated and focused Pharmacy Manager to supervise the day-to-day operations of our in-store pharmacy at our flagship location. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of pharmaceutical care and customer service are delivered. The Pharmacy Manager will oversee all pharmacy staff, manage prescriptions, and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies. As a vital part of Walmart's commitment to providing accessible healthcare, the successful candidate will contribute to our mission of helping people save money so they can live better by delivering superior pharmaceutical care. Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Ensure compliance with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy, the drug enforcement administration, and the food and drug administration. Monitor all pharmacy practices for accuracy and safety, oversee the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions. Implement and maintain policies and procedures for the pharmacy. Manage pharmacy inventory effectively, including the ordering and disposal of medications. Counsel patients on medication therapy and care. Administer immunizations and manage immunization records. Drive pharmacy initiatives to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction. Strong leadership and management skills Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and legal compliance Proficiency in using pharmacy technology and software Strong communication and interpersonal skills High level of detail orientation and precision Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current and active state pharmacy license Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Immunization Delivery Preferably certified in Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
