Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Atlanta, GA Agency: Health Saviours Pay: $45 to $50 per hour Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse – Pre-Operative Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM | Monday–Friday Location: Atlanta, GA, 30342 Contract Length: 13 weeks Blended hourly pay: $50/hr Shift Timings: 8 Hours Days (40 hours per week) Weekly Stipend: $1,246 ($31.15 per hour) Weekly Taxable: $754 ($18.85 per hour) Weekly Gross: $2,000 Requirements Requirements Minimum 2 years of Pre-Op nursing experience . Licensure: Active Georgia RN license (or compact state license). Certifications (all required): BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Responsibilities Assess and prepare patients for surgical procedures, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with physician orders. Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed in the pre-op setting. Provide patient and family education regarding the surgical process, anesthesia, and post-operative expectations. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to coordinate safe patient handoffs. Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety standards. Support efficient case flow to meet daily surgical schedules. Respond appropriately to emergency situations and perform life-saving interventions when necessary. Ensure compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals of all ages, including pediatric and adult populations.
