Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Hiram, GA (onsite) Contract
Duration: 13 weeks Working hours: (4)10hr shift with various call
shifts including some weekends and holidays Total hours: 40
Description CVT Tech-Cath Lab The Cardiovascular Technologist I is
a professional without Cath lab &/or interventional experience
training to assist during diagnostic and therapeutic invasive
cardiovascular procedures. He/she will train to assist the
physician during the procedures and operate specialized equipment
in a safe and efficient manner. The Cardiovascular Technologist I
is responsible for maintaining sterile technique during procedures
and assisting the Cath_EP Lab Manager/Director in the maintenance
of a safe and efficient environment dealing primarily with adults
eighteen to sixty-five, and geriatric patients over the age of
sixty-five. The cardiovascular technologist I may participates in
the cath or EP call rotation once appropriately oriented and
checked off on clinical and operational competencies. Requirements
CVT experience in Cath Lab 1 year minimum, EP and Peripheral
experience preferred not required. Shift: (4)10hr shift with
various call shifts including some weekends and holidays. On call:
per unit needs. Weekends: minimum every other weekend. Holidays:
minimum 2 major 2 minor. *A completed cover sheet required for each
submission. * Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ACLS - Instructor or
ACLS - Provisional Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor
Registered CVI Specialist-Preferred
