Locum Tenens Family Medicine Physician Near Atlanta, GA We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Atlanta, GA. This is an ASAP - Ongoing position, ideal for physicians looking to work in a primary care outpatient setting. The physician will provide essential care to patients of all ages. Key Details: Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing End Date: 01-31-2025 (with potential for extension) Shift Type: Day shifts, Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Coverage Type: Outpatient, no call required Practice Setting: Outpatient Family Medicine EMR System: Epic (training required) Duties and Responsibilities: Patient Care: Full-spectrum family medicine care, treating patients of all ages Volume: Expect to see approximately 20 patients per day Coverage: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Certification Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine Active Georgia Medical License BLS Certification Additional Details: Credentialing Timeframe: 21 days Epic Training: Required (offered every other week). Must be completed after credentialing before starting clinical duties. Holidays: New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day are allowed holidays, but specific coverage on holidays may vary.
