Certified Surgical Technologist Location: Atlanta, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,105 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 26 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in CVOR - Candidates may be first-time travelers - Two supervisory references are required at the time of submission Description: Unit details include weekend call requirements. Call is required one day a week and one weekend every four weeks. Floating within the facility and to the main OR as needed. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment period, the individual is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the individual is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the individual is expected to work two of them. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant in time, the start will be pushed back by two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Candidates must provide core items and complete schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract. Interdisciplinary support is provided. Patient care includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Clinical screening candidates will be reviewed to determine clinical fit. Candidates will be sent to the manager for the final decision once they pass clinical review. Only those with previous charge experience, trauma level experience, and travel experience will be considered. Patient ratios during days, nights, and weekends is 1:1. Preferred skills include experience in general OR, hybrid OR, and cardiothoracic robotic surgery. Experience with cardiac procedures such as CABG, TAVR, and mitral valve replacements is highly desirable. Aseptic technique and sterilization/disinfection skills are also essential.
