Requirements Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for orthopedic and post-surgical patients on the Med/Surg unit. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in accordance with hospital policies and standards. Administer medications, monitor IVs, and manage pain control protocols. Assist with pre- and post-operative care, including wound care, dressing changes, and surgical drain management. Monitor, document, and report changes in patient condition to the interdisciplinary care team. Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Requirements Experience: Minimum 2 years in Med/Surg (ortho-surgical focus required) License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS (AHA) required 28432107EXPTEMP
