Surgical First Assistant Location: Atlanta, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,669 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Title: CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 5 years preferred; consideration for candidates with 3 years of experience. License: GA or Compact license required at the time of submission. Certifications: BLS, CSFA, or NBSTSA, NCCSA also accepted. Must-Have: - Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, Thoracic experience required. - Privileging process to be completed prior to start. - Availability for call one day a week and one weekend every four weeks. Description: The position requires experience in Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, and Thoracic surgical services. Candidates must undergo a privileging process that may take approximately 120 days to complete. Only weekend on-call is required every four weeks. Candidates may be required to float within facility to Main OR as needed. A clinical fit assessment will be conducted to determine suitability for the role. All compliance requirements must be fully met for an on-time start. Requests for time off (RTO) should not exceed 7 days. No holiday RTO will be accepted during the assignment. Travelers must be available to work during major holidays as specified. Candidates are expected to complete core items and schedule necessary labs promptly after contract signing. All references must be supervisory and preferred to be two in number. Previous travel experience is not required, but preference is given to those with it. This position accepts first-time travelers.
