Job Description:
Georgia Hospice Care (GHC) seeks a compassionate and experienced
Director of Nursing to lead our dedicated nursing team. You will
drive the delivery of high-quality end-of-life care that aligns
with our commitment to comfort, dignity, and respect for all our
patients. At GHC, we serve patients across various counties,
ensuring personalized care tailored to the needs of each individual
and their families. As Director, you will ensure that our staff are
highly trained, our procedures are evidence-based, and our policies
meet the highest standards of palliative care. Assume the
responsibility for overall nursing operations, management, and
administrative duties. Ensure compliance with current healthcare
regulations, medical laws, and high standards of care. Plan and
oversee the continuous education and training of the nursing staff.
Develop performance improvement processes to enhance quality of
care delivered. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to
standardize health care delivery. Implement policies and procedures
that conform to current standards of nursing practice. Prepare and
manage budgeting and resource allocation. Communicate effectively
with families, patients, and healthcare team members. Promote a
compassionate and efficient end-of-life care environment.
Leadership and management in healthcare settings Comprehensive
knowledge of hospice and palliative care practices Strong
organizational and communication skills Proficient in healthcare
management systems Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced
environment Empathy and dedication to patient care Medical

Registered Nurse (RN) licensed to practice Certified Hospice and
Palliative Nurse (CHPN) preferred
