Registered Nurse - Operating Room Location: Atlanta, GA Start Date:
03-02-2026 End Date: 05-30-2026 Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM;
schedule includes weekends and holidays; on-call required; no block
scheduling Hours per Week: 36 Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Provide expert perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room for
a variety of surgical cases Respond promptly and professionally
when called in for on-call and holiday coverage Collaborate with
surgical teams in Level 1 trauma situations, contributing critical
clinical decisions Maintain high standards on the skills checklist
and follow unit protocols to ensure patient safety Support
efficient room turnover and sterile technique to keep cases moving
smoothly Mentor peers and share your travel-nurse experience to
strengthen the team’s capabilities Qualifications Active RN license
in the state of Georgia (or compact/eligible) required Operating
Room (OR) nursing experience required Level 1 trauma experience
required Previous travel nurse experience preferred and called out
as important High skills checklist rating required — demonstrate
strong clinical competence Availability for weekends, holidays, and
on-call shifts; no block scheduling Knowledge & Skills Strong
clinical judgment and OR technical skills Comfort functioning in
Level 1 trauma environments Familiarity with perioperative
protocols, sterile technique, and OR workflow Ability to manage
high-acuity cases with composure and teamwork Burn care experience
