successful positioning in the aesthetics market. The Med Spa
Manager’s role is comprehensive, blending clinical expertise with
administrative and leadership duties. The Swan Center offers
premium plastic surgery and med spa services, and the Med Spa
Manager must provide unparalleled leadership, compliance, and
clinical management, ensuring top-tier healthcare delivery. This
key role will drive the revenue of the med spa and create an
outstanding patient experience while leading a dynamic team.
Position Summary and Responsibilities Clinical Oversight:
Responsible for overseeing all clinical operations in the med spa.
This includes supervising all staff and treatments, ensuring that
all procedures are performed safely and effectively, and that they
meet the highest standards of care. Partnership with the Practice
Manager: Align med spa strategies with those of the Swan Center
overall and partner closely with the Practice Manager to ensure
goal attainment company-wide. Meet regularly to discuss med spa
revenue growth, address opportunities in the business and with
staff, and work in tandem to solve problems and celebrate wins.
People Leadership: Effectively manage med spa staff by providing
consistent coaching, mentoring, and managing performance.
Proactively identify performance gaps as necessary and partner with
Practice Manager and HR as needed to address. Manage staff
retention and provide a positive work experience daily for all team
members by remaining professional, engaging, and leading by
example. Staff Recruiting and Training: Recruiting, training, and
managing staff, including providing ongoing education and training
in the latest aesthetic techniques, safety protocols, and how to
sell services and treatment plans to patients. Regulatory
Compliance: Ensure that the med spa complies with all local, state,
and federal regulations. This involves regularly updating protocols
and procedures, maintain updates and warranties on spa equipment,
maintaining proper documentation, and ensuring that all staff are
trained in compliance standards. Quality Control: Implementing
quality control measures to maintain high standards in patient
care. This includes monitoring treatment outcomes, handling any
patient complaints, and making improvements as needed. Policy
Development: Developing and updating policies and procedures that
govern the day-to-day operations of the med spa. Patient
Consultations: Although not always involved in day-to-day
treatments, the Medical Director may consult on complex cases or
new clients to determine the most appropriate treatment plans.
Business Strategy: Participating in strategic planning for the med
spa, including services offered, technology investments, and
business growth strategies. Required Knowledge, Skills and
Experience Aesthetics Industry Experience: Extensive experience in
aesthetic and non-surgical procedures is crucial. This includes
previous experience in and familiarity with injectables, laser
treatments, skin rejuvenation techniques, and other cosmetic
procedures that the med spa offers. Revenue Management and Sales:
The successful tracking of revenue to budget, sales goal
attainment, and staff KPIs as well as the ability to train and
motivate employees to sell to patients. Patient Experience:
Creating an outstanding patient experience from end to end,
including before and after the visit, during the visit at Swan, and
in all communications. Knowledge of Regulations: A thorough
understanding of the health care laws and regulations specific to
medical spas in their operating state. Leadership Skills: Strong
leadership skills are essential for managing staff, overseeing
operations, and ensuring a professional environment. The ability to
train and mentor medical and administrative personnel is also
vital. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are
required to effectively interact with both staff and clients,
explaining treatment options and outcomes clearly and
professionally. Qualifications 3 years in aesthetics or wellness
industry management experience required 5 years of aeshetics
industry experience overall preferred A degree from an accredited
university strongly preferred We may use artificial intelligence

reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
