Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Apr 13, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level III Special Care Nursery (NICU) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience and active GA or compact RN license. Details - 13-week contract in a Level III Special Care Nursery (SCN) at a hospital setting - SCN provides care to neonates with medical and/or surgical conditions, including infants born at the facility and select transfer cases - 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week - Equipment used includes ReCam ophthalmic imaging system, cardiac monitors, warmer beds, and isolettes - No on-call responsibilities Requirements - Active GA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand - Current BLS and NRP certifications (AHA-issued, must not be expired) - Minimum of 2 years of NICU or special care nursery experience required - Driver's license required for consideration Additional Information - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position - Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a minimum 2-year break before being eligible - Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted - An interview or pre-screening call may be conducted prior to offer American Traveler Job ID P-685939.
