Surgical First Assistant Location: Atlanta, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,686 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: 6/8/2026 About the Position Job Title: CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, CSFA, NBSTSA, NCCSA Must-Have: - Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, and Thoracic experience - CSFA certification Description: Position requires a privileging process prior to start. Privilege process takes approximately 120 days from the time of signature. This role requires hard stop requirements in Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, and Thoracic experience. The candidate must complete the privileging process prior to starting. Schedule consists of day shifts with weekend call requirements. Call is required one day a week and one weekend every four weeks, subject to change based on departmental needs. Floating within the facility and to the Main OR as needed is required. Travelers with first-time travel experiences are accepted. Candidates will undergo a clinical screen to determine clinical fit. The maximum number of requested time off days is 7 days. No holiday time off requests are accepted. Full compliance is required to start on time. Failure to comply on time may result in a push back of two weeks due to orientation scheduling. Local candidates can apply and will receive the same considerations. The number of non-billable orientation hours will be determined by the contract length. Candidates must be available to submit core items and complete or schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract to ensure an on-time start. Management reserves the right to make necessary adjustments to support unit needs. References from two supervisory professionals are highly preferred at the time of submission. Mandatory compliance document deadlines will be enforced prior to the start date. Workers must be away from all facilities for one full year to return as a traveler.
