Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/20/2026 - Duration: 8 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Apr 20, 2026 - Length: 8 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on a Surgical unit at a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience. Details - Position is located on the 4B Surgical unit of a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center - Patient population includes urology, gynecology, orthopedic, general medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT, and vascular cases - Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week - 4 weekend shifts per month are required - Block scheduling is not approved on most units - No on-call responsibilities - Epic EMR experience is required Requirements - Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact license required - Current BLS certification - Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg specialty experience - Experience in high-acuity, high-volume trauma environments required — candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered - Epic EMR proficiency required - Ability to manage critical, fast-paced situations with complex and diverse patient cases Additional Information - No RTO (time off) will be approved for this assignment - Local candidates are accepted for this position - Certifications and active license must be provided for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-689842.
