Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Trauma - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/20/2026 - Duration: 8 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Work on high acuity medical-surgical floor specializing in surgery trauma /n• Must be willing to work assigned shifts - no block schedules available /n• Patient ratio of 5:1 with nursing support techs available /n• Phlebotomist services provided on unit /n• Unit secretary available during night shifts /n• Participate in nurse handoff communications with ED nurses and admitting unit /n• Care for patient population including spinal neuro trauma surgical patients, gunshot wounds, quadriplegics, and paraplegics /n• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred /n• EPIC electronic medical record system experience required /n• Minimum 2 years experience in specialty required /n• No RTO (Return to Orientation) available /n/n Facility: /n This major healthcare facility operates as a Level I trauma center providing comprehensive medical services with a focus on high-acuity patient care.
