Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 10 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Georgia or Compact license required Certifications: CPR Must-Have: 1. First-time travelers accepted 2. Two supervisory references recommended Description: UNIT DETAILS: The unit focuses on transplant, cancer, primary stroke, women’s services, and cardiovascular service lines. Services include coronary CTA, valve studies (aortic, mitral, tricuspid), and cardiac morphology studies. The Emergency Department is non-trauma but has high patient acuity. Scans are primarily conducted on the head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, pulmonary embolism, and extremities. Inpatient services include specialty studies aimed at transplant and neuro. SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday with variable days off. No weekend shifts. No on-call requirements. Floating may occur within facility/scope of practice as needed. COMPLIANCE: Full compliance is required to start on time. Failure to comply will delay start date by 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Local candidates are accepted. HOLIDAY POLICY: If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler must work two holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day. Candidates must be prepared to submit core items and complete labs quickly after contract signing to ensure an on-time start. Return travelers should complete one successful assignment outside of the previous facilities before rebooking. Modules will be non-billable and are factored into the assignment hours. Modules will be completed as part of the overall onboarding process.
