Join our team and see where the flight benefits can take you. Job Summary: Responsible for supervising a team of agents cleaning airport facilities and operating facility cleaning equipment. Job Duties: Supervises a team of agents in janitorial duties and coordinates daily activities to ensure a safe and effective operation. Responsible for shift schedule to include work assignments, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations. Responds to employee issues or complaints in a timely matter. Communicates with the Station Manager concerning any problems or issues. Schedules and conducts shift meetings. Trains, coaches, counsels, and mentors’ employees in compliance with station policies. Monitors and enforces safe working conditions in accordance with regulatory requirements, Unifi policies and safety procedures, and all applicable laws. Promotes and adheres to policies concerning Safety, Anit-Harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity. Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience and, capabilities expected for this position. Qualifications: High School diploma, GED or equivalent education. Must be at least 18 years of age. Possess a valid Driver’s License. Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements. Preferred Qualifications: One year of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry. Physical requirements: Must be able to frequently lift and carry, greater than 70lbs and constantly lift and carry up to 70 lbs; Constantly push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend. Working conditions: Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime. Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
