UST is looking for a highly energetic and collaborative Technical Business Analyst who can Lead /work individually with the development, QA, product owners team and adhere to standardized BA policies, processes and documentation standards, overseeing and/or participating in all aspects of the Project Life Cycle. The Business Analyst will be responsible for participating in all phases of the project life cycle. The ideal candidate is expected to be experienced in the legacy - preferably mainframe and latest technologies like Java, AWS, GCP etc,The candidate should be a proven self-starter with demonstrated ability to make decisions and accept responsibility and risk. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain experts and IT leadership team is key to be successful in this role.As a Business analyst--at UST, this is your opportunity to--- Stakeholder and team interaction--- Determines stakeholder influence and relationship needs and understands their business and requirements.--- Builds and manages stakeholder relationships including business partners, users, vendors, product owners, project team members, and leaders.--- Interacts with technical team(s) to help translate functional specifications into technology solutions.--- Develops business analysis artefacts (use cases, business models, etc.) to document "as-is" and "to-be" requirements and business process change management plans as they pertain to specific projects and/or functional area.--- Identifies and communicates risks and issues that may require changes to scope.--- Prioritizes requirements effectively based on identified factors.--- Organizes and synthesizes large amounts of information provided by stakeholders.--- Ensures that all requirements support the delivery of business value, fulfills goals and objectives and meet stakeholder needs.--- Leads and participates in User Acceptance sessions for confirmation of requirements implementation prior to deployment.--- Ensures appropriate stakeholders are involved and obtains required information for capturing and validating requirements and other artefacts.--- Effectively manages changes and conflicts during requirements gathering process.--- Manages requirements traceability and future reuse.--- Prepares artifacts in an understandable and presentable format.You bring:* Minimum 8 years' of IT experience in Business Analysis.* Have been a developer for more than 3 years* Proficient in requirements gathering, business modelling, project scoping, and use case creation.* Have good knowledge of enterprise integration and related solution blocks like Message oriented middleware, Enterprise Service Bus, Business Process Modelling tools etc* Expert knowledge in API development using SOAP/REST* Knowledge of software development/delivery processes such as Agile/SCRUM/Kanban and demonstrated experience gathering requirements in such environments.* Expertise in utilizing standard requirements documentation tools/utilities.* Experience in managing SCRUM cycles' scope along with SCRUM Master and--product owner.* Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot and provide solutions.* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and effectively engage with individuals at all levels of the organization.* Demonstrated strong communication skills, both verbal and written.* Strong work ethic demonstrated attention to detail and excellent time management skills.* Must be available to work as needed to honor project commitments, meet deadlines, and support assigned business area needs (e.g., nights and weekends).* Experience with legacy (mainframe) and cloud stack (AWS/GCP)For this role, we value:--- Strong experience business analyst working in a financial profile with application migration experience--- Mindset and hands on experience in working with legacy and cloud technologies--- Strong experience in working agile environments--- Have BA and SCRUM certifications
