Software EngineerSummary: The Software Engineer is a key individual part of the Federation Hub. Federation Hub is the core application that allows the authentication of all the users to the Infor applications. It provides the capabilities for customers to configure their authentication solution as well as providing a common interface for the rest of Infor Applications. The Software Engineer for this group will be responsible for the design and development of new features core to the authentication of Infor applications.A Day In The Life Typically Includes* Maintain and develop new functionality for the core security services* Work in a small group of highly skilled individuals to develop and enhance some of the services part of the Federation Hub like auditing and monitoring, Multi Factor authentication authorization service and session service.* Support operations and management of an enterprise level production cloud deployment* Follow best practices as part of the development process* Collaborate with the product architect on the design of new functionality* Collaborate with the product architect on the non-functional requirements to support the future demands for the application* Develop and improve applications CI/CD processesWhat You Will Need* 3+ years successful cloud experience in development* 3+ years of production deployment experience in the cloud* Experience with Agile methodology* Experience with Amazon AWS* Strong analytical skills and broad product knowledge* Extensive experience writing Java* Experience developing API based applications* Passion for learning new technologies but a strong conviction for not reinventing the wheel* Strong communications and presentation skillsPreferred Skills* Exposure to authentication flows, like SAML, WS-Federation or OpenID Connect* Understanding of API Security (e.g. OAuth2, JWT, mTLS)* Experience developing authentication applications* Formal large-scale development experience or large-scale production experience is a huge plus* Experience developing and deploying serverless applications* Ability to work with aggressive timelines, in a team environment with a willingness to learn and grow* Good grasp of concepts like network protocols, network security, SSL, PKIX, routing, and load balancingInfor ValuesOur Guiding Principles set the standard for how we work with one another.
