Job Description
An Industrial Process Programmer to be responsible for managing the SCADA HMI integration of manufacturing utility systems into new and existing facilities, and to meet the requirements of the manufacturing processes, including design development, operation, and maintenance of all programming, configuration and communication services using equipment and software from a variety of HMI, SCADA, and PLC manufacturers, as well as various communication protocols for a wide variety of industries and applications.

Required:

• BS/MS in an Engineering field (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control Systems, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, etc.)
• 3-5 years of experience as a hands-on Controls Engineer or Applications Engineer working on automation and/or electromechanical systems
• Advanced proficiency in modern text-based programming languages (Python, Java, C, VB)
• Advanced proficiency in database systems (MSSQL, MySQL, Access)
• Proficiency in Ignition SCADA software
• Proficiency with PLC programming tools and languages (CODESYS, Structured Text, ladder logic, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  Job Responsibilities:
  
  • Design and implement integration solutions using the Ignition SCADA application software
  • Develop, design, implement and support SCADA HMI (Human-Machine-Interface) screens in Ignition SCADA system using the Perspective web UI framework
  • Develop and/or improve on existing techniques and processes
  • Responsible for all aspects of industrial robots including specifying, programming, trouble shooting, defining preventative maintenance, and training others
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining PLC-based automation systems for new and existing machines
  • Integrates PLC data into Ignition
    Salary Range: $70k/yr. - $80k/yr.
