**This position is open to remote work anywhere in the USA.**The Identity Provisioning group in Azure Active Directory is growing, and we are looking for a software engineer to join our leadership team. Our group makes identity data available everywhere it needs to be. We are a large organization that owns many products critical to our customers' success. Our group needs a software engineer to influence the planning, strategy, technical direction, and setting standards for our group. As an engineer you will tackle our most complex, persistent, and open-ended problems. You'll be a role model to the engineers on the team and will coaching them to drive positive change throughout the team. This role is hands-on with you dividing your time between coding, design, and architecture guided by where you'll have the most impact. Our team has a keen sense of accountability and provides its members with many opportunities for learning and career growth.We have exciting opportunities for you to innovate, influence, transform, inspire and grow within our organization, and we encourage you to apply to learn more!\#IdentityJobs**Responsibilities**+ Design and develop large scale distributed software services and solutions+ Adhere to and drive modern software engineering practices through design reviews+ System design through well-defined interfaces across multiple components, code reviews, leveraging data/telemetry to make decisions+ Develop "best-in-class" engineering for our services by ensuring that the services and the components are well-defined and modularized, secure, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored and reusable.+ Improve test coverage for services, organize and implement integration tests, and resolve problem areas+ Considers testability, portability/monitoring, reliability, and maintainability, and understands when code is ready to be shared and delivered+ Exposes test coverage issues, organizes and implements integration tests, and resolves problem areas+ Gain a working understanding of Microsoft businesses and collaborate with mentors and leaders in order to contribute to cohesive, end-to-end experiences for our users+ Focus on customer/partner needs through a data driven approach+ Troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability and monitoring for Live Site+ Gain a working understanding of Microsoft businesses and collaborate with mentors and leaders to contribute to cohesive, end-to-end experiences for our users.+ Focus on customer/partner needs through a data driven approach.+ Troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability, and monitoring for Live Site.**Qualifications****Required Qualifications:**+ At least 8+ years of professional software development and design experience, using one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript+ 2+ years experience developing high scale, distributed systems on a cloud platform+ Experience in Architecting solutions for complex distributed problems+ Experience in mentoring and coaching other Software Engineers**Preferred Qualifications:**+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Math, Engineering or related field, or completion of a Code/Developer academy programAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
